TLOU Level Design Challenge (Day 3)

What was accomplished today:


- Revised existing level design by adding foliage, water, destruction, props, and puzzles.

- Did basic scripting for puzzle solving (it's now fully playable!)

- Focused level design on sight lines towards areas of interest and hidden items

- Started designing a narrative for voice over content

- Focused on adding fair, yet challenging combat areas

- Altered character controller to make more similar to The Last of Us

- Cut areas that did not serve a main purpose to the level design

- Focused on adding more natural lighting to interiors


My goal is to finish the first pass of the level design by Day 7 with all voice over content so I can start play testing and revising the content. On the second week, I will spend time making sure scale is right and models are as accurate as possible for a simple blockout. In addition, I will start looking into what is needed for basic AI.
